There are a many of reasons why an organization could benefit from an HR Audit:
- To identify any sources of potential liability
- To identify and prioritize policies, processes or procedures that could be improved upon as well as areas of potential future risk
- To develop strategies that streamline organizational efficiencies so that HR can better serve employees
- To identify and correct any gaps between what is intended and what is actually occurring within the organization
The most frequent HR problem areas center around recruitment and employment practices, employee discipline and terminations, misclassification of exempt and non-exempt employees, inaccurate I-9 forms, personnel files, and benefits practices.
An HR Audit requires us to be on-site for up to two days (for a full audit) or for a few hours (for a partial audit). Upon completion of our on-site visit, we will provide you with a detailed report outlining our findings and suggestions on how you can improve your organization’s HR effectiveness and efficiency.
